Even More 10 Yard Driver Distance Challenge Success
This week we have had another successful fitting story in our 10 Yard Driver Distance Challenge! This is a great opportunity to have a Driver Fitting with the new 2017 equipment, if you don't gain an extra 10 yards on your current driver then I will give you a free sleeve of balls!
This week I have had Malcolm Lightbody, he was using a Yonex 10.5* Regular driver which is approximately 8 years old. His Ball Data with his current driver was;
Ball Speed 118mph, 18* Launch Angle with 4600rpm Spin on the ball which was carrying 168yards and totalling 172yards.
After going through the fitting process, I fitted Malcolm with a PING G 10* SF Tec driver with the Tour 65 Regular Shaft; his new ball data was;
Ball Speed 124mph, 16* Launch Angle with 2900rpm Spin on the ball which was carrying 197yards and totalling 209yards - a gain of an extra 37yards total.
This was an increase of 6 mph in Ball Speed, on a Lower Launch with Less Spin which produced a tight shot pattern and a total gain of 37 yards!
