Snow Snow and more Snow! Once again, the Club has been affected by the heavy overnight Snow on Wednesday / Thursday!

Both the Golf Course and Driving Range are closed. The weather forecast for later in the week looks to be warming up with rain on Friday, the Green Staff will inspect the course daily to assess if we are playable or not.

The Thursday night Group Coaching (tonight) has been cancelled. I will rearrange the session in due course. If anyone needs any further information please contact the Professional Shop.

Members Accounts

Can all Members who have credit and prize winnings on their Pro Shop Accounts please clear this by the 28th February 2015. It is the Golf Clubs Financial Year End at the 28th Feb and we need to clear and settle all accounts. We are moving to a limited company as of 1st March so all monies need to be settled. If you have Credit in the Pro Shop come in and grab a bargain in our end of season sale!

Changes to the Green Keepers Roadway

'All Roads and Paths, including 'Duraturf' Paths are Free Relief. Compulsory Relief must be taken from all 'Duraturf' Paths. Rule 24-2b(i) applies. All stone walls are integral parts of the course.'

The Diagram below illustrates the term "Nearest Point of Relief" in Rule 24-2 in the case of a Right Handed Player

B1 = Position of Ball on the Roadway
P1 = Nearest Point of Relief for B1
P1 Shaded Area = The area within which Ball to be dropped, radius of one club-length from P1, measured with any Club

B2 = Position of Ball on the Roadway
P2 = Nearest Point of Relief for B2

P2 Shaded Area = The area within which Ball to be dropped, radius of one club-length from P2, measured with any Club

Our Group Coaching sessions have been a huge success throughout 2014, we have now organised and scheduled sessions to start back up early next year.

The Group Coaching Sessions are 4 x 1 Hour sessions at only £30.00 per person, 6 people in a group.

We have scheduled the following dates and times;

February 2015

Thursday - 5th, 12th, 19th & 26th at 6-7pm (only 2 spaces remain) or 7-8pm
Saturday - 7th, 14th, 21st & 28th at 10-11am & 11-12am (Only 2 spaces remain) 

We will cover Full Swing, Half Swing and Short Game elements during the 4 sessions.
