It's coming 

Christmas that is. Sorry, we know it's only October and we're not saying we're going to decorate the shop just yet, but there are some fantastic new releases arriving in store and if you are one of those organised types who gets things sorted early, be sure to check out our pro shop. 

Here's an idea: if you have your heart set on a new driver, or set of irons, perhaps a new crested club sweater… forward this email to that person who has an interest in what's on your Christmas list and you could be on to a winner! 

Talking of winners, there was another victory for one of the game's hottest prospects at the weekend. Following Matt Fitzpatrick's triumph at Woburn, Andy Sullivan cruised to a nine-shot win at the Portugal Masters. You couldn't help but be impressed with the way the 29-year-old went about his business on the final day. Nerves? What nerves.

November Coaching 

With winter fast approaching I am organising Coaching sessions on a Thursday evening through November, then following on into the New Year for January, February and March. We have found winter coaching sessions a huge success and it allows you to work on your swing through the winter ready for the following season! 

The Coaching Sessions are 4 x 1 Hour sessions at only £30.00 per person, with a max of 6 in a group. 

The November dates and times are as follows: 

Thursday 5th, 12th, 19th & 26th. 

5.30 - 6.30pm :  FULL
6.30 - 7.30pm : 2 spaces
7.30 - 8.30pm :  FULL

During the 4 sessions we will cover: Full Swing, Half Swing and Short Game elements.

November Group Coaching with Lucas 

On a Wednesday evening through November/ early December, Assistant Club Professional Lucas, will be running group coaching sessions. 

The Coaching Sessions are 4 x 1 Hour sessions at only £30.00 per person, with a max of 6 in a group.

Wednesday 4th, 11th, 18th November & 2nd December. 

5.00 - 6.00pm :  4 spaces
6.00 - 7.00pm : 6 spaces

Explanar Golf Training Aid 

We have taken delivery of the Adult and Junior Explanar. 

The Explanar is a Kinaesthetic Golf Training Aid that aims to teach your muscles how to perform the perfect golf swing. 

The perfect golf swing is a swing that moves directly in line with your optimum golf swing plane. Most golf swings are either too flat or too upright, and the optimum golf swing plane is located between these two points. 

The Explanar golf training aid can be set to your optimum golf swing plane using the adjustable hoop and the Plane Sensor. By moving the Power Roller around the Explanar, you mimic your optimum swing plane. With practice, the movement of this perfect golf swing is then memorised by your muscles and will be re-enacted on the golf course and allow you to play longer, straighter and more consistent shots.
